Rather than simply doing a trainer course, you begin with a supported setup that includes your trainer route, learner access, reusable simulation tools and the first package of learner certificates. It is a low-risk way to begin delivering with more structure and credibility from the start.

The HALO Taster works particularly well for people who want to move beyond one-off teaching and begin offering a more consistent, supported and recognisable VeinTrain-based learner experience. It is also a strong option for trainers or small organisations who want to test demand before stepping into higher HALO levels.

The Train the Trainer Premium route at the heart of this package includes the VeinTrain Simulator Unit, our portable pop-up arm-style vein simulation unit, which connects to QR-linked guidance and the VeinTrain Online Skills Lab. VeinTrain supports your preparation as a trainer. Sign-off, supervision and governance remain your organisation's responsibility.

The ten VeinTrain Simulator Units in this package are designed for repeated use across multiple cohorts. Each unit carries QR-linked guidance that connects your delegates to technique videos from the moment they pick it up. The Online Skills Lab access supports independent learning between sessions. The Clinical Competency eBooklets provide the structured documentation framework for tracking each delegate's progression towards local sign-off.

The full HALO programme is available at Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. It supports organisations from a single department to a multi-site trust or international network. A note on trainer responsibilities

Your VeinTrain Train the Trainer certificate is evidence of structured trainer development using the VeinTrain system. If you are delivering training in a healthcare setting, you remain responsible for working within your professional scope, your employer's policy and local clinical governance arrangements. A VeinTrain certificate documents learning or training completion. It does not replace local employer competency sign-off, local policy, supervision, scope of practice or employer assurance. VeinTrain certification and local employer competency sign-off are separate processes. VeinTrain supports training and preparation. Sign-off in practice stays with the organisation.
