Yes. HALO is specifically designed to support training at scale, helping organisations standardise IV cannulation, IV line, venepuncture and phlebotomy training, reduce variation, and build consistent competency across services in line with the VeinTrain Standard.
Venepuncture is inserting a needle into a vein to take blood. It needs theory, safe technique and supervised practice. VeinTrain teaches this using online learning, simulation and a structured competency booklet aligned with national standards.
Phlebotomy is the process of taking blood. Many people search for “phlebotomy training” when they need venepuncture teaching. VeinTrain covers both and supports the whole pathway from beginner to trainer.
Cannulation involves inserting a plastic tube (cannula) into a vein to deliver medicines and fluids. It requires strong fundamentals, confidence and supervision. Our programme prepares you safely and steadily.

You receive a Certificate of Attendance plus your competency booklet for supervised workplace sign-off. Competency must always be demonstrated in real clinical settings.

Halo is scalable. You can start small and grow. As your centre reaches autonomous level, your licence costs reduce and you can access free veins and eLearning under a corporate licence. This keeps quality high and cost per learner low.
Individual courses are for single learners who want direct access to our online academy and simulator. You book online, receive immediate access to the skills lab and your own simulator is sent to you. You can then join LIVE online or in-person sessions when it suits you.
If you prefer, you can also contact us to be added via a group or organisational booking instead of booking directly yourself. Either way, you receive the same structured learning and support.
