HALO: Training at organisational scale

Structured training through HALO reduces duplication, raises consistency and lowers delivery cost per practitioner as organisations scale. Once systems are set up, standards are higher and wastage is reduced; see the breakdown below.

Whole System Set up for small and large organsiations: The more un units ordered the more is saved in purchase too.

This drops into your own systems and we add support as needed. You may need Train the Trainer, a few fully trained to help supervise and teach. Once you are set up your standards are higher, wastage is reduced, patients are happy and your year on costs are significantly lower, particularly on staff release. If you have your own competency programme you can use that one. You can adapt the flatpack trainer to get flashback, dress the vein and most of all, coach learners on areas of confusion that you spend hours on with only limited simulator access: flush pressures, angles, grip, arm positioning, process steps, needle safety, and ANTT. Our trainer sets speed up workshop sessions, leaving you time to  focus on the patient variable and skill mastery. Once you have rolled out our system you simply top up in areas you need. Staff turnover is no problem, we send you out some more vein systems. The biggest savings are wastage costs of cannula/product due to poor training and then staff release savings. Take a look below!

Ideal for:

  • New product Roll out
  • Whole organsiation Standaridsation
  • Incident Training - ie Reducing needlestick Injury
  • Standardising Training between delivery

  • Organisations seeking high quality care outcomes
  • Student Nurse and Doctor Training - Includes OSCE Competency Programme

Choosing either a simple flatpack for every delegate accross whole organisation Rapid Competency is the starter vein this has very simple instructions on how to do the procedure then if you need more you move to masterclass upgrading via the link oincluding more theory and rationale. The ultimate Vein is the HALO Vein - this vein is dynamic as research comes out we share it. If you found an innovation then your vein may include some samples or information. This vein is ideal for all vein enthusiasts and trainers. Once your organisation is using the flat pack system we can invite you onto our Halo Status Accreditation. We do this for Training Centres and Delivery centres.

Additionally, NHS and other large contracts can acheive significant discounts when the organisation hits a volume we pass on the discount to all new buyers. We want to get this out to as many clinicians as possible as lower cost as possible so call us to see how we can make it workable for you and your organisation. In order to do that we need to get volumes and get these beauties everywhere.  All in the name of VeinSaving. Veins are non-replenishible in humans but in our flatpack we can send you out a new one and the tubing lasts a long time. You can also insert a bionector bung and put blood into it. If you want the sense of skin then put your trainer in a glove! The idea of this trainer is you see the angles and pay attention to your insersion. We know it works but when you are ready you want that visual block, put a glove onto your VeinTrainer - nice and handy!
