HALO Levels and Pricing

HALO is VeinTrain's governed training model for scaling vascular access skills across an organisation. It gives you a structured route to competence in venepuncture, phlebotomy and IV Cannulation, delivered safely and consistently, with the right balance of VeinTrain-led delivery and your own internal capacity.

Train the Trainer is the bridge in this model: it develops people in your own teams who can teach and sustain the pathway, so you can move from VeinTrain-led delivery towards centre-led delivery at a pace your governance can hold.

This page sets out the HALO levels and how to choose the right one for your organisation. Pricing depends on cohort size, support level and licence model. A VeinTrain certificate documents learning or training completion. It does not replace local employer competency sign-off, local policy, supervision, scope of practice or employer assurance.

Which HALO level is right for you?

The level that is right for your organisation depends on three questions:

How much of the training do you want VeinTrain to run for you?
How much internal training capacity do you want to build?
How quickly do you need to scale?

Each level represents an increasing degree of centre autonomy, from a fully supported start to an autonomous HALO Centre, reflecting a different balance between VeinTrain-led delivery and internal autonomy. Many organisations start at one level and move up as their programme matures. Whichever level you choose, local competency sign-off remains local.

Starter - HALO Taster

The HALO Taster is the entry route for organisations that want to test the model before committing to a full HALO package. The Taster typically includes Train the Trainer, vein simulators and eLearning access. The exact bundle depends on your starting point and cohort size. Bronze - Fully Managed

This level suits organisations at the start of their scaling journey or where internal trainer capacity is not yet established.
