What is Halo (Enterprise)?

Halo is our enterprise model. It is designed for academies, hospitals, universities and training providers who want a full system for phlebotomy, venepuncture and cannulation. Halo Centres use VeinTrain simulators, our online academy (eVein and iVein) and competency tools to train large numbers of learners safely and consistently.

Halo is scalable. You can start small and grow. As your centre reaches autonomous level, your licence costs reduce and you can access free veins and eLearning under a corporate licence. This keeps quality high and cost per learner low.

What is an individual VeinTrain course?

Individual courses are for single learners who want direct access to our online academy and simulator. You book online, receive immediate access to the skills lab and your own simulator is sent to you. You can then join LIVE online or in-person sessions when it suits you.

If you prefer, you can also contact us to be added via a group or organisational booking instead of booking directly yourself. Either way, you receive the same structured learning and support.

What is the Trainer route?

The Trainer route is for clinicians and educators who want to teach these skills. We are specialists in supporting trainers. Train the Trainer gives you our full structure, toolkit and teaching methods so you can deliver safe, standardised training in your own setting.

VeinTrain trainers are leaders. We help you check all the key elements: governance, learner pathways, assessment, scaling and sustainability. This support helps your contracts run smoothly and keeps training safe, high quality and affordable.

How do I choose between Halo, Individual and Trainer?

If you are one person wanting to learn or refresh, choose an Individual course. If you lead a team or organisation, Halo is usually the best fit.
